Job Description:

Planet Consulting is actively recruiting a Software Engineer for a client of ours in Dunwoody, GA. This person will develop and implement software enhancements with minimal/no supervision. Resolve problems within assigned applications with minimal supervision. Develop and execute unit test plans and verify all test results. They will also provide 24/7 on-call support, when scheduled and problem resolution for the application.

Job Requirements

* 4-year college degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience required.
* 5-7 year's experience developing applications in C#, VB.NET, ASP, HTML and Microsoft .NET Framework, as well as Microsoft SQL Server required.
* Ability to follow all company policies and procedures, as well as internal departmental procedures to ensure consistency.
* Ability to investigate and assess issues to make certain the correct solution is implemented.
* Excellent communications and writing skills to communicate technical information clearly to both users and technical people.
* Willingness to take ownership for own work to continuously improve performance.
