People within the Client Operations-AO workgroup are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location. Application Outsourcing (AO) incorporates skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients.
The Vision 21 Developer will be perform design, build, testing, defect resolution, and deployment tasks. Ensure that built components adhere to approved technical designs. Prepare technical documentation per project standards. Perform testing per approved test plans and test cases. Perform senior technical tasks including design, mentoring, and complex technical assignments. Peer reviews code and documentation. May participate in functional analysis and work directly with client.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze, code, and test simple to very complex modules for new programs and changes to existing programs according to approved detailed technical designs and test cases.
- Assist business systems analysts and application architects during analysis and design.
- Conduct work planning and prioritization for assigned team.
- Record test results in test management system and accountable for the resolution of identified defects. May delegate the resolution of defects to team members.
- Define and perform post-deployment verification procedures.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge of appropriate programming languages and tools for supported systems.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge of multiple supported system and business process.
- Document work as defined by documentation standards. Utilize document management system to maintain documentation.
- Peer review work done by other team members and enforce standards.

Preferred Skills
- Test Director or similar tools for test management.

- Capability Maturity Model Integration or similar process improvement models.
