People within the Client Operations-IO workgroup are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location. Infrastructure Outsourcing (IO) is the ongoing management and/or improvement of activities related to a part or to the whole of a technical infrastructure (e.g. information systems, security systems, and telecommunications networks), allowing companies to focus on their core business and competencies.


Service Delivery/Operations focuses on the attributes or skills essential to providing the necessary services and solutions to the client, the client’s employees or the client’s customers in fulfillment of contractual obligations agreed upon by both parties. Examples of people in this capability include Software Developers and Technical Architects.

The Security Architect within Security Infrastructure Solutions will assist with the development and operational support of IT security solutions for the Accenture Technology Infrastructure Services organization. This includes standard IT security solutions that satisfy Accenture internal IT security policies and, as required, will also include solutions for client outsourcing engagements.


Subject Matter Associate (SMA)
- Serve as a knowledgeable technical resource within the traditional security technologies
- Provide technical recommendations for Accenture’s networking infrastructure within subject matter areas
- Assist in development and documentation of security architectures that support Accenture’s evolving business needs as well as client engagements and outsourcing efforts
- Serve as a point of contact for non-operational questions by other teams within ATIS Network Services
- Continue to increase skills through projects, self study, and training opportunities


Project Resource
- Serve as a technical resource for projects and engagements requiring specified SMA skill sets
- Serve as project lead for smaller activities requiring limited resources within ATIS Network Services
- Assist in the development of required project work plans
- Assist in the gathering of project and/or engagement requirements
- Research appropriate technology and product offerings
- Provide technical evaluation of identified product offerings
- Provide input into infrastructure solution recommendation
- Assist with configuration and implementation of pilot deployments
- Support operational transition of infrastructure solutions to ATIS Network Services GNOC
- Assist other ATIS organizations with cost estimates for project and engagement solutions, as required


Operational Support
- Provide Tier 4 escalation support for production network problems within Accenture’s security infrastructure and client outsourcing solutions
- Participate in regular on-call rotation schedule which provides 24x7 escalation

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
2+ years experience in at least two of the following firewall systems:
- CheckPoint, Cisco, or NetScreen

2+ years experience in at least two of the following VPN Technologies:
- IPsec, SSL, Nortel, Cisco, Juniper

2+ years experience:
- TCP/IP networking

2+ years experience in at least two of the following mechanisms:
- LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS+, PKI, SSL, SSH

2+ years experience in at least two of the following types of intrusion detection systems:
- network based, host based, signature, heuristic

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • CISSP, CISA or CISM certification.
  • ITIL / ISO20000 experience.
  • 2+ years experience in data center and network design
Professional Skill Requirements:
  • Strong English Language communications skills
  • Influencing skills
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Self-driven to achieve and exceed goals
  • Certification in Business Continuity planning (CBCP, MBCP or other)
  • Working knowledge of technical infrastructure architecture and design
  • Security architecture and design experience
  • Managed security service / disaster recovery product development and delivery experience
  • Ability to estimate and complete detailed work plans for area
