Job Description
The Technology Capability Specialist for ACIN is responsible for all of the technology components of the facility, which includes all emerging technology as well as technology infrastructure for the facility (i.e. A/V, Video Conferencing, Collaboration tools, etc.)


Key responsibilities may include
  • Research emerging technology in the Retail/CPG space to refresh content and messaging
  • Support existing emerging technology assets within ACIN
  • Coordinate with ATIS for technology support
  • Maintain and manage relationship with facility technology partners
  • Asist in the building of and troubleshooting of Accenture Technology Labs research projects and/or Alliance partner assets and prototypes according to specifications of the original researcher and/or alliance partner.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software for ACIN emerging technology assets
  • Maintain and troubleshoot communication and digital tools relating to workshop execution and preparation
  • Perform work within budgetary guidelines
  • Continually research emerging trends and technologies in Retail and CPG by scanning journals, magazines, and occasionally attending tradeshows and conferences
  • Average travel for this position will be 25%. Candidates must be open to 100% travel as needed.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience\
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting skills
  • Broad technical knowledge of PCs, PC operating systems, PC development environments, esoteric hardware, and wired and wireless networking
  • Electrical and electronics assembly and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with emerging technology: RFID, Video Mining, Blue Tooth/Wireless, etc.
  • Familiarity with common A/V & Collaboration Technology: AMX, SMART Technologies, Video Conferencing
Preferred Skills:
  • Understanding of basic computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 operating systems.
  • Basic Active Directory administration skills. Ability to create and manage user accounts in Active Directory
Professional Skill Requirements:
  • Broad understanding of custom/packaged applications, including knowledge of Web Servers, Application Servers, and Databases. Understanding of Accenture development lifecycle and standard environment requirements
  • Ability to maintain current knowledge of all relevant technology developments and seek opportunities to deploy new technologies that benefit the client and project teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to travel as required by demands of the businessProven ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Communicates clearly and concisely, using appropriate level of detail, terminology, and style
  • Ability to follow up with clients/customers to make sure requests have been meet
  • Can balance and prioritize own activities to make sure critical items are addressed
