Job Description
The SAP FI/CO Configuration Analyst in the US Delivery Centre is responsible for the design, configuration and support of the SAP FI/CO area to meet the business needs of our clients. Working closely with our clients to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality, the FI/CO Configuration Analyst adds value to the US Delivery Centre through their knowledge of the FI/CO module and knowledge of its integration with other modules.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Provides functional and configuration knowledge in designing and maintaining SAP solutions in the FI/CO module of SAP to meets business requirements.
- Understands how the application supports the business processes and applies this knowledge to best solve problems.
- Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and designs and troubleshoots in the area with this knowledge
- Conducts or participates in user requirements gathering and documentation designs.
- Provides alternatives based on best practices and SAP functionality.
- Develops functional specifications and works with technical resources to complete object development and testing.
- Provides leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing
- Understands and applies Accenture methodologies and procedures.
- Develops relationships within Accenture to leverage firm assets.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
2 years experience in SAP FI/CO configuration
- Proficiency with SAP FI and CO modules (specifically CO-PA)
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Communicates clearly and concisely, using appropriate level of detail, terminology, and style
- Ability to follow up with clients and customers to make sure requests have been meet
- Can balance and prioritize own activities to make sure critical items are addressed
- Ability to define and ask for support when recognizing own or team’s limits
- Demonstrated ability to complete configuration of simple to medium requirements
Nice To Have Skills/Qualifications
- Business process and functional knowledge.
- Cross SAP module integration
- 4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Accounting, Finance, Operations Management, or similar degree or equivalent experience.
Location/Travel:
All candidates must be willing to travel when business needs require it and travel may be up to 100% depending on the role. Up to 20% travel is typical for this level but varies based on specific assignment.
