The US Delivery Center organization is comprised of six delivery centers that create client value through innovative technology solutions primarily focused in Application Outsourcing, ERP solutions, Information Management Services, and Net Centric solutions. The Delivery Center model is based on the principle that efficiencies and economies of scale are achieved through procedural best practices and centralized relationships for our clients specializing in finance and accounting, procurement, customer service, human resources and other services.

Job Description
  • Configure JDE E1 software to meet business needs and the business process requirements of the client in the Procurement area.
  • Recommend configuration approach and provide depth of skills for configuration activities
  • Direct configuration and testing activities, working with onsite and client Procurement team members
  • Document key business decisions made and the rationale behind configuration settings for future reference and review
  • Lead Procurement assessment or configuration team for a JDE E1 upgrade/implementation run project.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for a Center based project team for the Procurement area
  • Provide general configuration, development and or training knowledge and insight in JDE E1 Procurement area
  • Able to complete configuration of simple to medium requirements
  • Able to execute complex requirements with some input from a more senior lead.
  • Lead a team of 1-3 Delivery Analysts or Senior Delivery Analysts to complete assigned tasks and related activities.
  • Complete work plans for Procurement configuration and testing activities
  • Provide estimates for business requirements for Procurement
  • Build relationships with project team members and clients who have functional knowledge and responsibilities in area of specialty
  • Participate in reviews of delivery tasks and set up in work shops or quality assurance activities.
  • Interact with functional area clients and executive leadership for the delivery of project based activities.
  • Complete functional designs and review technical designs for custom reports, interfaces or extensions impacting the Procurement area.
  • Analyze project and clients needs and determine how to best meet those needs
  • Provide input into testing for area of expertise
  • Complete unit testing, mapping known requirements to testing activities and results in functional area
  • Deliver quality, on time services to our projects/clients that meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Provide informal feedback to team members, working with the Delivery Lead or Manager to ensure team members are appropriately assigned
  • Provide status input to Delivery Need, noting key issues or accomplishments
  • Escalate process requirement or issues as appropriate
  • Perform complex support activities needed to support the Procurement business process.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in area of specialization, and provide input in other areas of Center based delivery.
  • Provide input on interfacing E1 Procurement and other software as indicated by client


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
    • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
    • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
    • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
    • Strong supervisory, coaching and project management skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
    • 4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar degree or equivalent experience
Professional Skill Requirements :
  • Understanding of the Procurement tables and their set up in E1
  • Experience in Procurement report writing
  • Experience in other procurement ERP systems
  • Experience with interfacing Procurement bolt-ons to E1 or other ERP systems
  • 5 years of Procurement Experience with at least 2 years of direct JDE E1 implementation experience



Location and Travel:
  • Preferably, work will be completed within the USDC Cincinnati location. All candidates must be willing to travel when business needs require it and travel may be up to 100% depending on the role. Typical level of travel for this level is 30%
