The US Delivery Center organization is comprised of six delivery centers that create client value through innovative technology solutions primarily focused in Application Outsourcing, ERP solutions, Information Management Services, and Net Centric solutions. The Delivery Center model is based on the principle that efficiencies and economies of scale are achieved through procedural best practices and centralized relationships for our clients specializing in finance and accounting, procurement, customer service, human resources and other services.

Job Description
The SAP FI/CO Team Lead in the US Delivery Centre is responsible for the design, configuration and support of the SAP FI/CO area to meet the business needs of our clients. Working closely with our clients to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality, the FI/CO Configuration Team Lead adds value to the US Delivery Centre through their knowledge of the FI/CO module and knowledge of its integration with other modules.

Key Responsibilities May Include
  • General responsibilities include:
  • - Responsible for Tier 2 & 3 support (SAP FI and CO)
  • - Responsible for meeting SLAs
  • - Manage local and IDC support resources
  • Specific responsibilities:
  • - Assess urgency of break-fix issues and requests for new functionality
  • - Assign requests to team resources as necessary, and manage work to completion
  • - Use skill set to design, build, and test effective solutions to application and/or process defects
  • - Develop other team member’s skills, mentoring them to become better SAP configuration architects, and better client consultants
  • - Ensure workload is balanced across team members
  • - Ensure sufficient application coverage during regular business hours, holidays, off-hours
  • - Be a role model to others in the team (quality of solutions, customer focus, work/life balance, etc.)
  • - Support/sponsor work/life balance
  • - Identify areas for improvements in processes and system utilization. Drive/lead implementation of such efforts
  • - Monitor client satisfaction and escalate potential issues to management if necessary
  • - Ensure all service requests are managed and completed according to SLAs

    Challenges:
    - The AO organization is dynamic and is working along-side the implementation team. The team lead needs to quickly adapt to changes, help stabilize the support model and propose ideas for improvements.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Skilled within SAP FI and CO modules
  • Ability to manage people effectively
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Communicates clearly and concisely, using appropriate level of detail, terminology, and style
  • Ability to follow up with clients and customers to make sure requests have been meet
  • Can balance and prioritize own activities to make sure critical items are addressed
  • Ability to define and ask for support when recognizing own or team’s limits
  • Demonstrated ability to complete configuration of complex requirements
  • 4 years experience in SAP FI/CO configuration

Preferred Skills:
  • Business process and functional knowledge.
  • Cross SAP module integration

Travel and location:
Preferably, work will be completed within the USDC at one of our four office locations. All candidates must be willing to travel when business needs require it and travel may be up to 100% depending on the role. This work will be located in Dayton & Cincinnati, OH. If the resource is not Cincinnati/Dayton based, travel requirements may be 100% for 4 months during test phase. Typical level of travel for this level is 40%.
