Accenture’s Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.
Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Centre or, in some cases, an Accenture office.
People within the Client Operations workgroup are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location.
The primary responsibility of the System Manager is as Lead Technical Architect and Technical Team Lead. Duties include the following:
- Manages resolution of database issues
- Works and resolves access and security issues
- Ensures the performance of the database and application
- Assures overall responsibility for environment availability
- Serves as Lead for the Tech Arch Team
- Manages a team of three resources
- Identifies, resolves/escalates problems or issues in a timely manner
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 4 years experience in the Technical Architect capacity
- 4 years development experience
- One year experience leading teams (3-4 team members)
- 2 years Oracle experience
- 2 years Web Services experience
- 3 years experience with database/environment management
- 3 years Configuration Management (version control, code migrations, code builds)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a client team environment
- Oracle experience – 10g, AS, DB, Forms, Discoverer, Workflow, Oracle Internet Directory (OID), portal
- System Interfaces – especially financial
- Architecture - IBM/AIX, RMAN, load balancing
- Environment build-out
- Data center – government data center interaction
- RAC – and/or other clustering solutions
- Active Directory
- Administration of an Oracle environment
- Data Conversion/migration
- LDAP synchronization
