Accenture’s Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. People within the Client Operations-Other workgroup are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location.

Job Description
As an ANSS ITIL Release Management Consultant, you will support the standardization, development and implementation of ITIL aligned IT Service Support capabilities to encompass the operational processes of managing IT. In addition to focusing on leading Release Management efforts. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Accenture Release Management efforts
  • Assess and evaluate current state of Release Management operations
  • Develop/Update of an ITIL aligned Release Plan/Policy exerting physical control over Definitive Hardware and Software
  • Support development of Enterprise level Definitive Software Library (DSL) and Definitive Hardware Store (DHS)
  • Develop Enterprise level ITIL aligned Release Management processes and SOPs integrating the relationships between relating offices
  • Develop training materials and deploy training on new Enterprise Release Management processes
  • Assist in Identify and Develop metrics to track Release Management progress and processes
  • Identify opportunities to package similar changes into a single release to avoid downtime
  • Work with related offices to improve configuration of the test lab to mirror the Live Environment and enhance the ability to conduct functional and technical tests of releases
  • Ensure close coordination with Change and Configuration Management teams
  • Develop a continuous process improvement plan for Enterprise Release Management
  • Establish a Share Point, knowledge sharing website to post and share all knowledge capital related to Release Management
  • Develop Communications Plan and deliver related communications regarding Release Management


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • 4 year college degree
  • 3 years of professional experience in client services or IT industry (to include but not limited to one of the following: Siebel, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Preferred Skills:
  • Siebel Application Certification
  • Training & Process Work Experience
  • ITIL Certification
