Accenture Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. People within the Client Operations workgroup are responsible for day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location.
Job Description
Technical Architecture/Infrastructure Lead Team member for an SAP implementation. Primarily tasked with supporting, assisting and managing the design, build, and test of all technical components, including management and oversight of the Accenture ASP hosting partner.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Assist and support the day-to-day direction of the Technical Architecture Team.
- Accountable for the day-to-day client satisfaction of the Technical Architecture solution, as defined in the contract and responsible for the overall achievement of project milestones.
- Assist in monitoring performance against financial parameters as it relates to the Technical Architecture team and some input to the financial parameters of the overall Technical Integration Team.
- Required to communicate and translate complex technical issues and proposals to the client and peer groups on the project.
- Provides input to training and resourcing activities on the Technical Architecture team.
- Accountable for contribution of team in terms of delivery to deadlines/quality standards.
- Required to direct work within clear budgetary guidelines set by Technical Architecture Manager.
- Initiates and designs-in business process excellence improvements within the Technical Architecture environment.
- May review team evaluations/development plans of others.
- Allocates resources and responsibilities within the team to deliver business results.
- Assist with scheduling and tracking system architectural components during system design, build, and test phases.
- Work with team and other contractors to create architecture deliverables.
- Manage technical testing of architecture and technical requirements.
- Work with the customer and end users to understand and define the overall application and technical requirements. When applicable, work with the integration solution architect on these tasks.
- Perform hardware sizing and capacity planning as required to support the SAP implementation.
- Work with other technical architects to ensure that the products and components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirements.
- Ability to provide technical guidance, management and understand the complete technical infrastructure environment.
- Must work closely with the Application Service Provider (ASP) to gain optimal service for Accenture and the client.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years technical experience
- 1 year ASP(Application Service Provider) experience
- Bachelor Degree
Preferred Skills
- Fundamental understanding of the following architecture areas and the specific architectures that are covered within each area: Operations Architecture (systems monitoring, batch, backup/restore arch, etc.), Execution Architecture (Interface Arch, Output Arch, etc.) and Development Architecture
- Ability to define the technical infrastructure environment
- Ability to manage technical designs that are in line with the technical requirements, following the applicable design standards and ensure those designs are functionally and technically sound and integrate with other related system components
- Master's Degree preferred
