Accenture Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition. Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Centre or, in some cases, an Accenture office.

Job Description:

The Senior People Matters Team Member will be responsible for providing business value across multiple groups and allocating responsibilities within the People Matters team. The Senior People Matters Team member will be required to stand-in if immediate manager/ team lead is not available and to direct work within budgetary standards/requirements. The senior team member will be responsible for optimizing contributions of team members through coaching, counseling and mentoring activities. The senior team member will be responsible for making a variety of decisions that may be complex in nature or impact other team members.

Key Responsibilities:
1. New Joiner/Orientation Tasks:

  • Conduct Orientation for New Joiners to the project
  • Send Roll-on Welcome packet to all new joiners

2. Roll-Off Process Tasks:
  • Send Roll-Off Checklist to all people rolling off in the next week
  • Ensure all roll-off checklists are returned from employees at all sites and all ID badges & CAC cards are returned
  • Maintain list of badges that are collected and outstanding
3. Housing Tasks:
  • Validate Housing Invoices
  • Create Housing Purchase Requests & ensure that the project’s senior executive receives the appropriate PO for approval
  • Manage housing logistics such as assigning roommates and sending move-in/move-out notifications
  • Manage car rental partners and send notifications
  • Conduct Invoice Payment Verification
  • Maintain Housing Roster
  • Send Housing Release notices as needed
4. Out-of-Towner Tasks
  • Conduct Monthly Compensatory Audit:
5. Communication Tasks:
  • Manage Project Website
  • Produce the bi-monthly newsletter
  • Represent the project is the Accenture Public Services Community as the Government Operating Group Project Liaison
6. LCAT Mapping Tool:
  • Periodically conduct resume reviews of all Accenture new joiners to the project as well as those who are named resources on project proposal
  • Add the number of years of experience and other pertinent information for all project members and those resources named on the projects proposals into the LCAT Mapping tool
  • Provide support to the CFM team in terms of providing LCAT mapping for a team member or potential team member
7. Miscellaneous:
  • Process all invoices for payment (Verizon T-1, Cable, Verizon DSL, etc)
  • Organize any other project events
  • Main POC for the PMO team for help with SATDC VPN/PMO Shared Drive issues
  • Main POC for printers in the PMO team area (Trailer)
  • Send project wide communication on various topics as necessary
  • Organize holiday gifts for project
  • Provide CQMA input for People Matters Team


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:


  • 2 years experience with MS Office Suite
  • Bachelor's Degree


Professional Skill Requirements



  • Government industry experience.
  • Strong oral and written skills.
