Job Description:

Responsibilities: Lead functional enhancements to the Datawarehouse to maximize business performance. Manage, understand, prioritize and solve Datawarehouse/Business Intelligence issue/problems as they arise. Assist and provide input to the manager in project planning, estimation, and scheduling. Also, provides inputs on the DW/BI processes. Provide technical guidance/expertise to team members and in some instances lead to recovery plan when the solutions implemented needs corrective action. Develop and maintain sound change and release management practices for all database changes. Work with business analysts and developers to assist in technical analysis based on business requirements. Review technical analysis to insure it meets specifications defined in the business requirements document. Create and maintain database documentation Required Experience/Skills: 7 years administering multiple SQL Server databases in a large, transactional, production environment. JD Edwards experience a plus Experience with SSAS and ProClarity Experience with SQL Server 2000 and 2005 Ability to solve problems quickly and completely. A minimum of 3 years full life cycle experience in building a medium/large Datawarehouse/Business Intelligence solution. Proven success as Solution Architect/Team Lead on Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence projects Good communication (verbal & presentation) skills necessary to be effective on these roles. Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence best practices and techniques. Strong understanding of ETL processes and how to design develop & implement well integrated processes.
