Contract duration: 7 months

Position Title: Software Validation Engineer We are seeking a software engineer to support integration of consumer entertainment/infotainment products in our vehicles. This person will be responsible for assisting with the validation, verification, and troubleshooting Navigation systems. This person will collaborate with our engineering, service, and Tier 1 suppliers to identify and resolve software and hardware related issues. This position is based out of our Dearborn Michigan Research and Engineering center. Primary responsibilities include testing/evaluating the functionality of automotive audio infotainment devices and monitoring software changes and fixes. Specific job duties include: * Execute tests, develop test plans and analyze test results * Analyze and isolate software and hardware problems * Read requirements specifications and raise test issues in the product * Work with systems engineer to analyze and summarize test results
Skills Required:
Minimum of 8+ years IT experience or PD Engineering and IT combined. ** 1-2 years of In Vehicle Network Systems development experience an absolute must have. (IT Or PD)** Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the following: * Developing, integrating and running systems test scripts and procedures. * Testing automotive/consumer related electronics. * C/C++, Python, and MATLAB scripts/programming. * Developing / working on automated test benches. * Proven experience with providing a solution/feedback for
