Job Description:

Contract duration: 12 months

Position Description:
* Identify, escalate, track and document production outages with impact to the Company Credit business
* Follow through on the resolution of open problems
* Gather root cause and impact information
* Ensure that all communication to the customers is done on a timely basis and with a high degree of accuracy
* Verify that support groups escalation procedures are followed
* Monitor GIRS tickets, infrastructure and application availability
* Run production tests and escalate severity 1 and 2 problems

* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with others
* Ability to manage priorities across multiple concurrent projects
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills
* Strong drive for results
Experience Required:
* Excellent understanding of Company architecture and infrastructure
Experience Preferred:
* Experience or knowledge of the Remedy (GIRS) Action Request System
* Experience or knowledge of Microsoft Access desirable
Education Required:
* B.S. or higher or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or related field
