Job Description:
Contract duration: 12 months
Oracle Warehouse Builder Development:
* Define data transformation rules and determine most appropriate method for processing (extract-based, load-based, or DBMS-based)
* Prepare detailed data mapping documentation
* Code ETL logic (transformation code) within the Oracle Data Warehouse Builder tool. This is expected to be a combination of PL/SQL and SQL-based UNIX scripts to support data value transformation.
* Load data into Core data area of the DSS and/or iODS systems
* Conduct timing and capacity testing to ensure production support capability
* Develop exception and validation reports for transformation and load jobs
* Conduct data value testing at the conclusion of ETL development
* Schedule ETL jobs using the Tivoli Scheduler Tool
*Transfer knowledge to Personnel
Skills:
* Senior Oracle Warehouse Builder Development expertise in support of the Decision Support System (DSS) and the Integrated Operational Data Store (iODS).
