People within the Client Operations-AO workgroup are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location.
Our AO resources can expect to:
- Incorporate skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients.

This Solution Architect will work on a strategic client within Accenture’s Client Operations-AO workgroup. He/she will lead the conceptual design effort developing architectural baselines leveraging the client’s design standards. They work closely with solution teams and project managers to exploit existing architectures, ensuring conformance of system design to defined architecture standards and models. Architects move from project to project as a consultant for both the customer and the implementation team.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of Application/System architecture design experience
- 2 years of UML Experience– (Fundamental Certification Preferred)
- Advanced experience in any of the two of the following areas:
- System Integration techniques / Messaging Engines (BizTalk / XI / XML / SOA)
- Web technologies (web services, Microsoft including SharePoint)
- SAP NetWeaver / Business Suite
- Business Intelligence / data warehousing
- Microsoft .Net / MOSS
- Data Management architectures
- Microsoft Server/Infrastructure
- 1 year of Security Management
Preferred Qualifications
Solution architecture certification
CPG/Beverage Experience
- Agile SDLC Experience
- Database (SQL, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Access, XML)
- Development architectures
- Programming languages (Microsoft VB 6.0, VB Script, JavaScript, HTML, COBOL, APS)
- Data Analysis/Warehousing technologies
- Analysis, query, and reporting tools and frameworks (SAP BW/BI, Crystal Enterprise, IBM DB2, SSAS)
- Data transformation and movement technologies (DataStage, SSIS)
- Predictive Analytics/Statistical Modeling
- Data warehouse/infrastructure support processes
- SAP R/3, SRM, Portal, MDM
- Packaged software environments (CAS, Margin Minder, SAS, MAXIMO, BizTalk, Learning Management Systems)
- Portal technologies and applications (MOSS 2007/ SAP Portal)
Professional Skill Requirements
- Broad understanding of application architecture. Able to provide direction across application architecture, integration architecture and data architecture
- Understanding of security management
