Overview:
ProLogic, Inc. is currently seeking well qualified candiates for the position of Oracle DBA in Pittsburgh, PA. ProLogic provides IT services and engineering for the National Energy Technology Lab (NETL) in PA, WV, OK, and AK. Work includes enterprise architecture, enterprise engineering, sustaining engineering, server and desktop support, networking, and security.

Responsibilities:
* Performs database development, performance tuning, backup, recovery and back-out procedures
* Monitors logs, database usage and space
* Schedules batch jobs
* Set up and maintain production, test and development environments
* Troubleshoot and manage Oracle processes, tune memory allocation and contention and I/O.

Qualifications:
Minimum requirements:
Must be a US Citizen
Bachelor's degree Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or a related field plus 1-2+ years of experience in the job to be performed.

* Prefer 1-2+ years experience as an Oracle Database Administrator using Oracle on Windows with Database Administration, Design and Disaster Recovery experience.
* Experience should include 1-2 years in Oracle on Windows, PL/SQL, Toad, and Pro*C.
* Knowledge of MS SQL Server, a plus.
* Oracle 8i through 10g experience a plus.
