Overview:
ProLogic is currently seeking a Network Engineerr for the ITES contract in Pittsburgh, PA. The ITES contract provides IT services and engineering for the National Energy Technology Lab (NETL) in Morgantown, WV, Pittsburgh, PA, Albany, OR, and Tulsa, OK including enterprise engineering, software application development and sustaining engineering, desktop support, networking, cyber security, and computing facility operations in support of approximately 1600 users. The ITES contract also provides the Human Resource information systems for the entire Department of Energy.

Responsibilities:
Candidate will be providing maintenance and support for a large multi-site network

Administer and maintain network routers, switches, remote access servers, and network management system.
Maintain and document changes to network architecture.
Proactively monitor network and implement improvements.
Support organization wide video teleconferencing systems.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Communicating with functional and technical staff in multiple locations.

Qualifications:
4+ years experience in enterprise network environment with Cisco
College degree or certifications (CCNA, CCNP)
Cisco Catalyst switch and router administration experience
Sound networking knowledge of TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, LAN, WAN
Proven ability to perform protocol analysis with network analyzer tools
Demonstrated trouble-shooting and problem resolution experience
Experience with network management software - CiscoWorks, HP Openview
Knowledge of network cabling.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
