Senior Networking and Communications System Engineer for WIN-T Program
Location:  Taunton, MA

Win-T Senior Networking & Communications System Engineer Responsibilities Include:
·         Perform systems architectural design and development for WIN-T State-of-the-Art Network Management System (NMS).
·         Leading & participating in system trade-offs evaluation, performance studies and functional analysis.
·         Perform all aspects of Systems Engineering disciplines including: Requirements Analysis, Use Cases and Data Flow Diagrams development as well as defining system default data definition.
·          Responsibilities also involve interpreting and analyzing architectural requirements obtained/derived from our client customers and other vendor specifications; participate in hardware and software design reviews while interfacing with internal IR&D, subcontractors and other engineering disciplines.
·         Responsible for defining technology roadmaps, defining technical elements to the overall architecture strategy as well as determining cost metrics and schedule impacts to the systems development.
·         Provide systems engineering support to other cross-functional product teams such as: Software Engineering, Network Design, Information Assurance, Modeling & Simulation, Test/Integration, Integrated Logistics Support, and Training.
·         Responsible for customer briefings, supporting proposals, assess existing or develop new capabilities, strategies or technical approaches.
·         Leading and managing significant systems engineering activities with demonstrable experience in research support and in-depth knowledge of COTS/GOTS network & systems management applications.
·         Support all required WIN-T program Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs) and technical interchange meetings, as well as maintain metrics on the progress of systems development.

Required skills: 
·         BS Degree with 8+ years of experience in a technical field related to systems engineering with demonstrated results, or equivalent experience.
·         Experience with the process of designing complex military Network Management systems for tactical communications or commercial wired/wireless communications systems.
·         Strong Army operational experience, including C2 communications and objective force structure.
·         Experience with the followings:
-       Radio systems
-       Policy-Based Networking (PBNM/DEN/LDAPv3)
-       Web-based Management (WBEM)
-       SNMP v2c/v3
-       ASN.1
-       TL1
-       CIM
-       TMN architecture
-       Information Assurance (Firewalls, IDS, ACL, KMS/PKI)
·         Working knowledge with Telelogic DOORS, Rational Rose and C4ISR architecture framework is desirable.
·         Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
·         Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance.
·         Applicant must be a US Citizen.
·         Applicant must be able to pass an extended background investigation (EBI) for this position.
