Summary of Position
We are currently seeking a self motivated Business Analyst with 3+ years of experience in developing real-time and batch mode integration with Peoplesoft AP / AR / OM modules.  Primary role of Technical Business Systems Analyst is to develop Peoplesoft integrations as a member of an implementation team, but the other roles include requirements gathering, design, configuration and production support for Peoplesoft customers implementing bolt on Tax software. 
Responsibilities

Gather business and user requirements
Perform system design to meet requirements
Coordinate technical implementation
Develop Peoplesoft integration programs per functional requirements
Prepare and execute test scripts and test cases
Ensure all requirements are met
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, especially around Peoplesoft integration programs. 
Explain technical issues and solutions to non-technical staff
Write project documentation
Debug Peoplesoft configuration and integration programs for in-house and customer Peoplesoft instances

Experience and Skills

Must be able to demonstrate analytical/critical thinking
3+ years of hands-on experience in developing integration programs for Peoplesoft AP / AR / OM with external systems.
Familiarity with Peoplesoft Financials 8.9 functionality and compatible People Tools, including People Code and Peoplesoft Application Designer
Experience developing integration with Integration Broker and familiar with Integration Gateway and Message Monitor
3+ years of experience in SQL, XML and Java as well as process/software gap analysis and resolution
Skills in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Good interpersonal and written communication skills
Familiarity with older releases of Peoplesoft Financials (8.4 and 8.8) are plus
Experience developing integration with Business Interlinks is a plus
Experience working with clients to determine transaction tax requirements, particularly with enterprise financial solutions is a plus.
Experience with integrating third party enterprise tax products (e.g. Taxware and/or Vertex) is a plus
40-50% travel is expected  (remainder of the time telecommuting is expected)

Education Required

BS/BA degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
