Job Description:

Contract duration: 6 months

Responsibilities:
* Chart business and IT processes by partnering with process owners and using appropriate methods and tool
* Define business and IT process requirements through requirements gathering activities
* Guide implementation of application and process improvements by creating and communicating well-written documentation and presentations
* Assure quality of business systems by developing and executing test plans and specifications
* Resolve issues related to business use of implemented systems or processes by working with systems or process owners, project teams and vendors
Requirements:
* Bachelors degree plus 8-10 years minimum IT experience
* 5 years experience with functioning as Business Systems Analyst (strong preference for life science industry experience)
* 3 years project leadership/management experience; this includes managing and executing project plans, coordinating resources, managing deliverables and providing project status reports
* Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycles and Project Management methodologies
* Strong understanding of IT applications and infrastructures
* Experience in working with web-based applications
* Must be able to work and communicate with all levels of management
* Proficient in managing customer expectations and third-party vendors
* Ability to manage multiple deliverables and resources simultaneously
* Must be able to work independently and require minimal supervision
