Job Description:

Contract duration: 4 months

Description:
* Hardware Engineer responsible for research, development, design and testing of electronic components, products and systems
* Will participate in the product life cycle processes including Understand performance requirements and their implications to product complexity/cost
* Determine product compliance to performance requirements
* Design STB sub system elements of high complexity
* Perform or direct the design and simulation of complex digital and mixed signal circuits to meet performance requirements
* Communicate with vendors for additional technical information
* Provide guidelines, direction and design review for PCB layouts to ensure circuit performance
* Interface with internal and outside (ODM) design teams
* Develop circuit test requirements and evaluate test results
* Perform test & debug of hardware systems of high complexity
* Demonstrate proficiency with use of test equipment
* Assemble and distribute test reports
* Perform or assist in System Level test process and procedures
* Provide review of Acceptance Test Plans to ensure they are aligned with design goals and PMRs
Position Requirements:
* Experience Level: 7 - 10 Years
* Verification experience (create stimulus, debug rtl, bug reports, verify rtl fixes, etc)
* PCIE experience
* PCIE knowledge & create tests/app layer for the PCIE block level verification
* Arbiter experience scripting experience - Perl (would be useful/not required)
* System level experience (create system level tests; understand dimm accesses, data checking, etc)
* Experience with ModelSim, Verilog, database management tools, etc
* Random env experience/error checking - block level
* Regression env experience - creating regression scripts, send regression reports/errors, verify fixes, etc (block level)
* Quick learner
