Software Development Engineer

Description
Our client is looking for exceptional software engineers to join its EDI team. Their engineering teams work on tough technical problems that engage and stretch their brains. As an engineer here, you will build, scale and optimize our world class EDI tools and solutions.
 
The EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Integration team is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to help define and build systems that use the capabilities of world-scale systems as promises to customers.
 
This position involves understanding requirements, designing new solutions to replace or update manual and automated processes, and implementing and supporting those solutions. 
 
Qualifications

You can conceive and design complex software systems and build them using Java or C++
A minimum of 2-5 years Industry coding experience in Java, C++ or Perl.
A minimum of 2-5 years developing and optimizing SQL
A minimum of 2-5 years Industry experience preferably on large UNIX or Linux based systems
You work effectively with other Software Engineers as well as with a cross-functional team
You can communicate your ideas effectively both verbally and in writing
You have a master's degree in CS or equivalent experience

 
Nice to have

Experience using tools such as ER Studio
Experience using Oracle
Experience using mapping technologies such as Hibernate
