Software Dev Engineer - Fulfillment Optimization

To meet these challenges, the Fulfillment Optimization team is looking for passionate, talented and inventive software engineers. We’re looking for people who love solving hard problems and never take no for an answer. Our engineers are top-notch software developers who love working as a team and take the lead whenever they get a chance.
 
Qualifications
 
Successful candidates will have:

Rich hands-on programming experience in C++/Java and a deep understanding of object oriented design (Have you written more than 10k lines of code last year? Can you explain what an observer is?)
Practical experience with software engineering best-practices and with refactoring existing code (Is pair programming your idea of a fun afternoon? Do you scrum?)
Deep understanding of distributed systems and multi-threaded programming (Do you know what SOA is and how to make it work? Can you write a service from the ground up without using any framework?)
Experience with optimization systems, math programming models, and Operations Research techniques are an advantage (Do you know how simplex works? Can you solve flow problems?)
