Job Description:

As a .NET/C# Developer, you will be joining an agile development team to assist with the delivery of quality driven solutions for one of world s largest software companies in Redmond, WA. Working through the complete development life cycle, from conception through release, you will be working on a variety of challenging projects with a group that recognizes individual achievement and values teamwork. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Assisting with business analysis activities, including documenting and analysing required information and data Preparing requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations Contributing to application architecture and database/system design Writing use case documents and generating use case models Analysing technical design specifications and developing solutions which meets those specs Researching and evaluating new and emerging technologies for their potential application on client engagements Skills Required: 2 years related work experience, including experience on medium-sized teams Experience working through the complete development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, and deployment Solid skills with C#, .NET Framework (1.1 and 2.0), ASP.NET, and SQL Server (2000/2005) Experience with MS SharePoint and related technologies (desired) Proficiency with Unified Modelling Language (UML) 2.1 (desired) Knowledge of Internet, Intranet, Extranet, and Client Server architectures Understanding of Object-Oriented Design, test-driven development, and design patterns Familiarity with formal development methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, or Waterfall preferred) excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Passion for development, excellent communication skills, strong customer focus, and an unwavering commitment to quality BS in CS or related field or equivalent work experience Current Microsoft certification(s) (MCP/MCSD/MCAD) (desired) Experience with automated unit testing using NUnit or VSTS (preferred) Previous experience with consulting or software firms providing solutions to clients highly preferred Skills with Web application technologies, such as ASP.NET, Ajax, JavaScript, and XML is a plus.
