Senior Business Intelligence Developer Analyst
Location: Seattle, WA
Salary: 71-92K + 15 % BONUS

Essential Duties and Resposibilities
 

Our client is seeking a motivated Sr. BI Developer Analyst to support installation, configuration, and deployment of Corporate Information Technologies.
 You will work with Oracle’s Business Analytics Platform and Informatica’s ETL tool to create and deploy Web based dashboards, reports, and company reporting solutions.
 You will coordinate user requirements with systems specifications and flow documentation; code, debug, and move applications from development environment, through testing, acceptance and into production and assist the Project Lead on large-scale or complex projects.
You will also directly contribute to the development of the Enterprise Business Intelligence Strategy.
Interact with assigned user organizations to clarify and document pertinent business processes; assist in user education and training on each supported application; determine data requirements and/or data interface needs; facilitate application setup; coordinate testing; and monitor implementation. Complete assigned project tasks on time, within published scope and on budget.
Assist management in creating solutions for Business Intelligence, including business analysis, project support, tool evaluation, report definition and training definition.
Interact with requestor/users during discovery, scope definition, justification, design, development, testing and ongoing operation of packages to ensure product quality, efficiency, user satisfaction and ownership.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programming discipline, design methods and documentation techniques. Demonstrate use of accepted industry standards and precedures.
Develop a survival-level understanding of assigned application packages and data table structures (i.e. Oracle Applications/SQL Server/Access/Web Tools) to facilitate program development or customization.
Perform on-call support for off-hour system issues.
Support the implementation of the in-house and vendor assisted software upgrades, conversions and release testing as directed. Demonstrate prescribed functionality within established time period & expense.

Required Qualifications:

BS Degree in Computer Science/Mathematics or equivalent
5-7 years experience within industry as a Programmer.
Two years experience with Business Intelligence technologies.
3-4 years experience within industry as an Analyst.
Strong formal (written) and informal (verbal) communication skills.
Ability to manage project from inception to implementation.

 Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Oracle Business Analytics
Experience with Informatica
