Overview of Role: As a Senior Network Engineer/Senior Network Analyst you will play a crucial role in the planning, development, installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of network systems technologies across our client's enterprise. This is a hands-on position where your in-depth technical knowledge will be put to the test with core networking devices and technologies.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification for the Senior Network Engineer/Senior Network Analyst

• Install and configure network hardware, including Routers, Switches, hubs, and related ancillaries.
• Inspect, maintain, and replace network cabling and equipment as needed.
• Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Plan and implement improvements, modifications, or replacements of network infrastructure components.
• Establish and uphold connectivity and uptime service level agreements.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to ensure global system stability and availability.
• Participate in projects and research network products, services, protocols, and standards.
• Enforce default levels and standards within technology equipment rooms, data centers, equipment racks, cabling, patching, and records keeping.

Education, Skills & Experience for the Senior Network Engineer/Senior Network Analyst

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior network role.
• Extensive experience with network systems, global configuration standards, relevant protocols, and leading vendor products and services in the enterprise space.
• Proficiency in software-defined and cloud-based networking.
• Global enterprise-level networking experience.
• Proven troubleshooting skills in complex hardware, software, and networks.
• Familiarity with global hardware products, including Cisco, Palo Alto, Veeam, Rubrik, Aruba, Meraki, HP, NetApp, Flow, etc.
• Knowledge of network management and analysis tools such as LogicMonitor, Datadog, Solarwinds, Network Config Manager, and equivalent products.
• Understanding of IDS/IPS/AV and other network security measures.
