IT Operations Engineer - Microsoft

Working as part of the Cloud & IT Operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining core Microsoft and Cloud technologies and to ensure all systems and applications are up and functioning smoothly.

• Managing and maintaining the Microsoft and Windows based Applications on a day-to-day basis
• Fault finding and diagnosis of issues within Microsoft/Windows Applications
• Providing out of hours support for deployments and maintenances
• Provide On-Call support
• Ensuring the Microsoft platform can support the Bank's growth
• Implementing the best practices for security and operational management
• Reviewing and challenging design documentation to improve efficiencies within the bank
• Find innovative ways to automate and improve current processes
• Documenting procedures and ensuring current procedures are up to date
• Build a better experience for colleagues and customers alike
• Any other duties as reasonably required by the role

Skills -

• You will have in-depEntra ID, MFA, MDE, CA Policy
• Cloud computing & Networking, MS Teams, MDM Intune, Certificate Authority, SCEP/NDES and Client Server applications
• Microsoft SQL 2012/2016
• You will have in-depth experience as a hands-on IT Engineer, with strong knowledge on different cloud technologies and platforms such as Azure
• Expertise in upgrading and migrating Microsoft applications and Operating Systems to latest versions
• You may have a degree level qualification within IT, or equivalent experience in an IT related field such as Systems Development or Computer Science
• Microsoft/Azure Certifications/Training
