Service Transition Manager (Contract)

Location: Warwick, Warwickshire Country: UK Rate: £450 - £465 per day + Inside IR35
 

Gibbs Hybrid is Supporting a World-Leading IT Services Contractor in their search for an experience Service Transition Manager with public sector experience. You must be able to commute two days per week to Warwick to be considered.

Top rate: £465 per day (inside)
Location (Warwick 2 days per week - the rest hybrid)
Duration: 6 months initial

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the transition of applications from Programme delivery into Business as Usual (BAU) Service Support.
- Develop and implement new processes for seamless transition and operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to Service Management concepts throughout the transition process.
- Define and manage Service Acceptance Criteria to guarantee successful transitions.

Required Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Service Transition Manager, preferably in Application Transition.
- ITIL Certification and ITIL Service Transition-certified (Nice to Have).
- Proficiency in Service Management concepts application during transitions.
- Familiarity with Service Acceptance Criteria.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous situations and develop structured processes.
- Strong client-facing experience with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Capacity to manage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in developing analysis, presentations, and support material for implementing strategy or change initiatives.
- Customer and relationship-focused, process-driven, metric-focused, results-oriented, organized, and self-directed.
- Awareness and appreciation of diverse perspectives, including those of ethnically minority-owned businesses in Europe.
