The role:

Valcon UK are currently recruiting for a Enterprise Architect to join our growing technology and data capabilities:

As the Architect you will essentially bridge the gap between the technical and business teams and be responsible for providing expertise in the definition, design, implementation, adoption and adherence to enterprise architecture strategies, processes and standards.

• Developing and documenting detailed technical solutions and architectures.
• Partnering with account leads to understand client requirements and scope potential projects.
• Evaluate and present different architectural frameworks/patterns and technological recommendations to inform proposals/projects.[MP1] [MP2] [SM3]
• Producing polished solution proposals and statements of work.
• Thoroughly reviewing statements of work before client delivery.
• Contributing to research & development initiatives to create new offerings.
• Guiding junior technical team members and providing mentorship.
• Staying current on critical technologies

Background:

• Proven experience in at least two IT disciplines (such as technical architecture, solution architecture, network management, application development, Middleware design, information analysis, database management or operations management).Experience of transformation/modernisation projects
• Expert IT strategy formulation
• Experienced with platform integrations, cloud, DevSecOps, ITSM, cybersecurity, data and networking.
• Ideally TOGAF certified - Delivery experience in Agile methodologies such as: Scrum; Lean; LeSS; SAFe
• Business Acumen: The ability to comprehend varied business challenges, applying technology solutions to address them.
• Accountability: Full accountability for technical solutions.
• Road-mapping: Demonstrated experience in defining, documenting, communicating, and driving technical roadmaps.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, with effective communication at all levels and technical backgrounds
• Governance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and understanding of governance practices.
• Growth Mindset: Possesses a growth mindset and a can-do attitude, adaptable to dynamic environments.
