Salary - £40,000
A leading professional services firm in Bristol is seeking a Manual Test Engineer to join their team and contribute to their digital transformation journey. You will be responsible for testing the reliability, performance, and quality of their developed technical solutions. This includes collaborating with agile delivery teams to develop new solutions and enhancements, as well as supporting the technical service team with any LIVE issues.
The Manual Test Engineer will work closely with the internal development team and partners.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on testing expertise to support testing strategies, including functional, non-functional, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Perform manual testing, conduct root cause analysis, support the resolution of issues/bugs, demonstrate work to stakeholders at all levels, and provide technical expertise/guidance as needed.
- Ensure any technical changes adhere to the chosen delivery methodology, testing standards, deployment controls, and testing framework.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to perform quality assurance.
About You
- Knowledge of Scripting languages (eg C#)
- Knowledge of automation tools (eg Cypress, Selenium)
- ISTQB or relevant qualifications are desirable
- Proficient in defect reporting and test management tools (eg Azure DevOps, Jira)
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
- Support project team with user acceptance testing (UAT)
