Service Desk Analyst Financial Services (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: 400
 

McCabe and Barton have partnered with a Financial Services client in recruiting a Senior Service Desk Analyst on an initial 3 month contract inside IR35.

You will be providing a blend of 1st/2nd line support across the organisation. You will have day-to-day accountability for the global service desk, including ticket and incident management, coordinating service activities to resolve tickets with minimal downtime and drive service improvements. The team works primarily within a Windows & Cloud environment, and it is taken as a given that you will have hands-on experience with these technologies.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years working within a global service desk environment
  • Hands on and able to support technologies across the Microsoft environment
  • 1st/2nd line technical support including SharePoint administration and Active Directory and Office 365
  • Background in banking or financial services
  • VIP support is desirable
  • Knowledge of service management and tracking software such as JIRA
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to rephrase information for all levels of technical understanding.
  • Self starter and team player and must of come from a broad technical background
