In this role, you are a key figure within the SIS Cloud Competence Center, contributing to the success of the Cloud Adoption journey. Here, you translate the benefits of Azure Cloud into direct value for customers. The CCC enables DevOps teams to work independently in the Azure Cloud environment from a one-stop shop perspective. The client is a pension company, supporting 4,5 million people here based in the Netherlands.

As an Azure Cloud Consultant, you possess both cloud engineering knowledge/expertise and a solid consulting attitude. You provide advice to DevOps teams and share the necessary expertise and experience to work securely and compliantly in the cloud environment according to high standards. You're not just a pure cloud engineer or consultant but a combination of both.
- Guide Azure cloud onboarding for DevOps teams.
- Provide solution support.
- Facilitate cloud adoption.
- Review solution designs.
- Collaborate closely with Azure DevOps teams within the organization.
- Familiarize the organization with the Azure Cloud environment.
- Conduct assessments on team skills required to operate in the Azure Cloud environment (skill assessments).
Your Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in development (Back End) and data engineering, with at least 3 years focused on Azure services.
- Broad knowledge of Azure components.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Highly familiar with cloud-native architectures.
- Preferred: Experience in the financial sector, understanding sector-specific compliance and security requirements.
- Preferred: Microsoft certifications such as DevOps Engineer Expert and Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Preferred: Up-to-date knowledge of recently introduced components, including AI.
