IT Security Consultant - Risk Assessment - Policies NIST CSF OWASP - this is a long term vacancy for our Basel based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Reviewing existing security standards, making recommendations, and updating the documents in line with best practice
• Conducting second line compliance checks on the organization's information assets
• Supporting the development and enhancement of the penetration testing strategy, including scoping and engagement with third parties
• Performing risk assessments and contributing to the review of the assessment methodology
• Implementing industry-recognized critical controls and supporting Corporate Security compliance mandates
• Assisting in technical security projects, particularly in developing and enhancing security policies and procedures

Your experience/knowledge:

• Familiarity with industry-recognized frameworks and controls like NIST CSF, CIS, OWASP, SANS with experience in implementing these frameworks
• Expertise documenting and communicating results for both developer and management-level audiences
• Knowledge of operating systems, application security, penetration testing, and cloud technology
• Experience in Security Policy and Standard creation, as well as risk management processes
• Certification in security-related disciplines and technologies such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, OSCP, PCI DSS is advantageous

• Self-confident with strong collaboration skills
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies
