GDS Product Manager (Contract)
Location: United Kingdom Country: UK Rate: c£450 to £500 per day (Outside IR35)
The Opportunity:
We are looking to attract a client-facing contract GDS Product Manager to collaborate with the project team across all disciplines to provide with research designs and key insights that will shape their ongoing product development projects for a key central government end-client operating in the healthcare sector.
Candidates will be familiar with both the Discovery and Alpha phases of projects, working to GOV-UK Service Standard focusing on UCD approaches, preferably experience of working with Customer Experience Centres for a central government department.
N.B. Candidates must be willing to undergo a basic level of security clearance prior to starting the role.
Skills and Experience:
- Product Manager - manage a product through discovery, Alpha, beta and live states, supporting lead and senior product managers and be developing expert skills in and knowledge of product management techniques
- Government Digital Service - able to demonstrate prior experience working within the Government Digital Service (GDS) or in government-focused roles and stay current with GDS guidelines and contribute to the development of digital strategies that align with government standards.
- Leadership and Team Collaboration - provide leadership in driving the adoption of enterprise architecture best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that architectural solutions are successfully implemented and integrated into project life cycles.
