ServiceNow Developer (Contract)
Location: Luton, Remote Country: UK Rate: £550 per day
We are seeking a talented ServiceNow Developer with expertise in Hardware Asset Management to join our team. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on managing hardware assets efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements related to hardware asset management.
- Design, develop, and customise ServiceNow applications and modules to meet specific hardware asset management needs.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow CMDB (Configuration Management Database) to accurately represent hardware assets and their relationships.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and tools to streamline asset management processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and user guides.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow applications related to hardware asset management.
- Stay updated on ServiceNow best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve asset management capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with specific experience in hardware asset management.
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, including CMDB, Asset Management, and Service Catalog.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant web technologies.
- Experience with ServiceNow Scripting languages such as GlideScript and Jelly.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes, particularly in the context of asset management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- ServiceNow certification(s) is a plus.
Mainly remote with occasional trips to Luton - Circa £550 per day outside IR35
