Apache Hadoop Developer (Contract)
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire Country: UK Rate: £350 - £550 per day
Role: Apache Hadoop Developer
Length: 6-12 month engagement
Location: Northampton - 3 days per week
One of my financial sector clients are currently looking for a Apache Hadoop Developer. They are looking for a Apache Hadoop Developer to join them on a hybrid basis with travel to office in Northampton 3 days per week. Past experience of working within the financial/banking sector would be ideal.
Development:
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Apache Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Spark etc.)
- Optimise data processing tasks for performance and efficiency
- Integrate Hadoop with other big data technologies and existing infrastructure
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing and deploying Apache Hadoop applications
- Familiarity with big data ecosystem tools and technologies
- Strong programming skills (eg, Java, Python)
- Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
