Java Developer (Permanent)
Location: Epsom Country: UK Rate: £45k - £55k per annum
Java Software Engineer Hybrid (1 Day per week) Epsom, Surrey- Up to £55,000 p/a depending on experience
- Due to a new multi million pound expansion of their already thriving numbers of brands, my client, who aids to the workforce of a massive amount of FTSE 100 companies are now actively on the lookout for a curious and inquisitive Java Developer to join their team.
From day one in the business, you will be helping them transform their already well supported system with practices that will expand your growth mindset forward in software development, giving you the opportunity to really grow within the brand as an established Java Developer.
- The team currently consists of 6 Java people including 2 Senior Developers, who are supported by the Java Team Lead. You'll come in as the 7th developer and will ideally have the mindset to engineer new practices forward within your team. You will be responsible within the team for deploying the new frameworks in line with relevant Java practice. There is a widened opportunity within the network to use Ansible and Automation within your practices.
Ideally my client are looking for a Developer that really has the ability to take part in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including the handling of live issues that they may come across.
Essential Tech Stack that I would bring to the team:
- You'll be skilled in Core Java (At least Java 8/11
- Experience in working with Java Technologies such as Apache/Tomcat/SpringBoot
- It would be ideal if you have exposure to Kafka/RabbitMQ in line with Java practice.
- Experience working in a Microservices Architecture environment.
- The team is currently shifting towards Agile and Scrum Methodology so the ideal candidate would be comfortable with this.
- The ability to work with Camel3 Apache.
