IT Engineer - Windows Servers - Azure Infrastructure - Banking

Excellent opportunity for a hands-on IT Engineer/Technical Support Analyst to provide a combined service desk, IT operations and technical support role within a Bank's IT department, supporting a sizeable number of applications and systems.

• Windows Servers - Hands on technical experience managing & configuring.
• Azure Infra - Hands on technical experience with Azure.

• The emphasis of the role is to respond, resolve any user submitted incidents in the IT Services Desk system as quickly as possible.
• In addition to service desk, 2nd and 3rd line support responsibility for the daily IT operational duties (which include systems backup and end-of-day system processing).
• This is an expanding bank with growing demands for a responsive and high-quality IT Technical and Operation support service.
• As IT Technical support analyst you would be expected to perform full technical support to all of the Bank's core infrastructures and provide technical assistance to users on a range of systems and business applications.
• Passion for developing an understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure or Oracle Cloud Infra is essential.
• The applicant would be expected to have substantial experience in installing and configuring hardware operating systems, PC/Laptop imaging and troubleshooting systems and networks.
• Carry out day to day IT Technical support, maintenance/upgrade and administrations on all the bank's systems and interfaces to ensure that everything is running smoothly.
• Log, manage, troubleshoot resolve, and supervise incidents on the IT helpdesk system.
