Data Governance Analyst

Our client, a leading global insurer, are currently in the process of bringing their data operations in-house and are seeking a proactive Data Governance Analyst to join their dynamic team.

In this role, you'll work closely with the Data Governance Manager, focusing on advanced data management implementation and operational tasks such as running data quality logs. Your expertise will contribute to designing, implementing, and maintaining our data governance framework, shaping the future of the client's data landscape.

We are seeking individuals with a genuine passion for data, who are eager to innovate and drive transformative change in the client's data governance practices.

Key Experience:

• Advanced understanding of data governance concepts, frameworks, and best practices (eg, DAMA, COBIT).
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL for operational tasks and data analysis.
• Experience with data governance tools such as Azure Purview.
• Strong analytical skills to run data quality logs and contribute to data management implementation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work closely with technical teams and the Data Governance Manager/Lead

Desirable Experience:

• Experience in the London Market insurance industry.
• Familiarity with working in a Microsoft Azure environment.

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £60,000-£70,000 per annum, inclusive of benefits. Additionally, the role offers a hybrid working model (2-3 days in the client's City based offices).
