Technical Writer (Contract)

Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England Country: UK Rate: £400 per day
 

Technical Writer - 1-Month Contract - £400/Day Inside IR35 - Milton Keynes (Hybrid) - SCC FLEX Contract

We are seeking a Technical Writer, to contribute by collaborating closely with the Infrastructure Team, Network Engineers and Project Managers to prepare user-friendly Technical documentation required for Disaster Recovery testing.

Your responsibilities as a Technical Writer:

  • Complete high-quality Technical Task Guides.
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure 3rd Line Team, Infrastructure Architects, DevOps team, and development teams to gather information about completed Disaster Recovery tests.
  • Complete Step by Step based Runbooks for Disaster Recovery tests.
  • Collate and complete Test plans, Test Results and Test Reports
  • Liaise with Project Managers.

As a suitable Technical Writer, you'll have:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content.
  • Experience in creating a variety of documentation, including user manuals, and online help content.
  • Basic understanding of software development and IT concepts, use of MS Office Tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and support staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
