SR2 are working exclusively with a forward-thinking SAS company, empowering the future generation of Scientists! They're in the tech for good space where they transform digital learning experiences.
I am looking for a mid-level PHP developer in or around Bristol to help support a small team of developers, revolutionising digital tools for science education.
Your new role:
- You will be working on the development and maintenance of existing systems.
- You'll get the chance to create clean code solutions and add innovative features on both the Front End and Back End.
- You will implement security processes and be responsible for isolating any issues, debugging, testing and troubleshooting where necessary.
What you'll need:
- 3-4 years' experience working in a software/application development environment.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and Java frameworks for Front End development
- Proficiency in PHP for Back End development (Laravel, symfony, or codeigniter)
- Good knowledge of relational databases (SQL)
Beneficial skills:
- Previous education industry experience or a scientific background.
- Good knowledge of MVC libraries/frameworks such as Vue/React.
- Experience with API's.
