ServiceNow Engineer - 6 month contract - Inside IR35 - UK Based - Remote

A leading global retailer is seeking a ServiceNow Engineer to join them on a 6-month contract in a team responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to support enterprise business processes and technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designs, configures, and implements ServiceNow applications and modules in alignment with business requirements
• Develops and maintains ServiceNow workflows, business rules, Client Server scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and integrations using best practices
• Supports platform stability by monitoring deployments, resolving incidents, troubleshooting issues, and performing root cause analysis
• Ensures adherence to ServiceNow development standards, governance, and security controls across the platform
• Integrates ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and third party connectors
• Participates in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities, contributing to backlog refinement, estimation, and delivery commitments

What You'll Bring

ServiceNow Platform Expertise including

• ServiceNow configuration & customization Including forms, tables, UI policies, business rules, ACLs, and Client Server scripts.
• Scripting: JavaScript (client and server)
• Service Portal/Employee Centre development including HTML, CSS, AngularJS, jQuery, and portal widget customization
• Workflow Designer Building automated HR processes and case life cycles.

Additional Requirement on Expertise Specific to HRSD:

• HR Case Management Case types, templates, HR services, and life cycle events.
• Employee Centre - Designing intuitive employee experiences.
• HR Integrations Connecting with Workday, as well as products from other vendors
