Senior IT Development Project Manager/£550 - 630 P/D (Contract)

Position: Senior Project Manager
Rate: £550 - 630 P/D
Reports to: IT Portfolio Manager - CIO Plans
Office Location: Edinburgh / Bristol

Job Purpose:
The Senior Project Manager role entails leading and motivating cross-functional project teams, typically in an AGILE environment, to deliver large and complex projects within the Plans business. This role combines Project Management best practices with fostering AGILE development techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver complex projects, including planning, scheduling, costs, change, risk, and issue management.
  • Define, document, and control scope for development projects in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans and contribute to wider programme, portfolio, and migration planning.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience managing and leading projects or programmes through the end-to-end software delivery life cycle, preferably within an AGILE Development environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering IT development projects into operational environments, ideally within the financial services industry.
