Senior JavaScript Developer (Permanent)

Location: Manchester Country: UK Rate: £70k - £80k per annum + Healthcare
 

Senior JavaScript Developer - Fully remote (£70k-£80k)

This is an excellent opportunity to work on an already very successful SAAS product that helps support the health, safety and wellbeing of students and school staff across the UK.

This fully-remote role can be filled from anywhere within the UK, is paying between £70k and £80k per annum.

THE ROLE:
Working within a small, cohesive software engineering team, you will be working on making the existing platform more resilient, optimizing its operation, and improving end user experience. In addition to adding new features to appeal to different market sectors, you will also get involved with creating a pilot version for the European market.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of the products and services. Through group planning sessions with the Technical Director, DevOps Engineer and other Developer, you will get to see your ideas and suggestions come to life.

There will also be business-related development projects including CRM integrations, supporting sales and customer success teams and maintaining integrations with APIs such as Airtable, Groupcall and Wonde.

Required Skills

  • Solid experience with modern JavaScript ES6 React, Node.js and Express
  • Experience with HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, Source Control (eg Git ), Redux/Saga
  • Exposure to Test/Behaviour driven development
  • Prior experience developing software for AWS/Azure
  • Experience with MongoDB/NOSQL
  • AWS: Lamda, SQS
