Data Analyst (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £400 - 500 per day
 

Data Analyst - 6 - month Contract

The Data Analyst's main job is to take big and intricate sets of data and make sense of them in a way that helps businesses make smart choices. This means they need both technical skills to handle the data and communication skills to explain their findings clearly. They analyse, interpret, and present data in visual formats to reveal insights that guide business decisions.

The Data Analyst would have strong experience with SQL and experience with data analysis tools such as: PowerBI, Excel and Azure Synapse would be beneficial.

The ideal Data Analyst would have prior experience working with a business that is early on I their data journey where there may be a lot of disorganised data that needs to be visualised and put together in a way to uncover insights.

You need to understand the core needs of the data and not just create the reports - this role is focussed on data analytics and deep diving into what the data is telling you.

Key experience for the Data Analyst will include:

  • Previous experience as a Data Analyst
  • Experience with SQL
  • Data Analysis tools: PowerBI, Excel, Azure Synapse.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other data visualisation tools to provide stakeholders with easy-to-understand insights.
  • Working on big and intricate sets of date: visualization, uncovering insights, and identifying trends, and patterns that support business decisions.
  • Finding insights in sets of Data using Power BI
  • Storing and processing information using SQL
  • Experience with data processing technologies such as Apache Spark and Apache Flink would be beneficial.
  • Inside IR35

This Data Analyst is an immediate start, with interview slots available this week. This role will be working mostly remote with ad hoc visits to sites in either Southampton/London.
