Oracle Systems Developer (Contract)
Location: London Country: UK Rate: £550 per day
Oracle Systems Developer - eCommerce - £550 pd Outside IR35 Our eCommerce client now requires a talented Oracle Systems Developer to join the team and work on their financial database. This is a critical project within the business and requires a knowledgeable professional to come in and hit the ground running. The Oracle System Developer must have a strong background and knowledge of PL/SQL and be able to deliver tailored support as and when needed to the professionals working within finance teams that depend upon the provision of error free revenue accounting data.
The Oracle Developer will be responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining the accounting financial database, and be a key part of a team already dedicated to this system. The right candidate will have the right experience to fix rare bugs and consistently strive to improve the quality and structure of previously written code.
The Developer will have previous experience in working with finance systems within commercial settings, preferably not in banks or insurance firms.
Key Skills:- Strong technical experience supporting, maintaining, and writing production code for Oracle and financial environments.
- Expertise in Oracle databases (PL/SQL & SQL)
- Strong background in Oracle APEX
- Leads by example
- Experience with commercial finance systems (preferably within eCommerce setting)
- Data Warehousing and Datamodelling/Architecture techniques
- Familiar with accounting concepts
- Experience of producing high level design and low level design documents
