Lead Architect - London - £100,000 (Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: Up to £100k per annum
 

Lead Architect - London - £100,000

The Architecture lead will play a key role in ensuring my clients customer-facing technology stays ahead in a cloud-first environment and remains innovative and operationally resilient. The role will involve facilitating architectural discussions and decisions and ensuring technical debt is proactively managed. A strong understanding of architecture patterns in modern cloud environments is essential as is a mindset for optimising performance, resilience, security, scalability, with equal focus on innovation in data and AI, to maximise customer value through Technology.

Experienced required:

  • Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks (eg TOGAF) with a forward view on how these can be utilised in an agile, commercially effective manner in a cloud-first environment
  • Strong knowledge of Azure architecture and distributed technology design patterns in general
  • Ability to leverage internal engineering expertise as well as external thought leadership to support optimal architecture decisions, both internally and in an M&A integration context
  • Passion for innovation and building the best technology stack, controlling technical debt and preventing obsolescence is vital for this role
