IT Systems Application Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide application support for various IT systems, specifically data centre monitoring and reporting applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues related to data centre management networks in enterprise environments.
• Provide support to internal resources for Microsoft applications.
• Utilize working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications to assist internal teams.

Requirements:

• Networking Knowledge: A solid understanding of network concepts and related technologies is preferred but not essential.
• Experience: Previous experience in enterprise network environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
• IT Infrastructure: Proficiency in IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network hardware and protocols, is advantageous.
• Programming Languages: Basic proficiency in HTTP and familiarity with JAVA or Python.
• Data Centre Expertise: Strong understanding of data centre environments and their underlying infrastructure.
• Control Protocols: Competency in the following control protocols is required:
• MODBUS/RTU
• MODBUS/IP
• BacNET IP
• SNMP
• IT Security Awareness: A general understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
