We are looking for a candidate who has a deep understanding of network infrastructure in cloud environments and possesses strong operational skills to ensure smooth functioning and optimization of network systems.

The task will be to manage and maintain PowerSwitch infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security of network operations.

Utilize expertise in SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot network devices within cloud environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that align with business objectives and scalability requirements.

Monitor network performance, analyse traffic patterns, and implement optimizations to enhance overall efficiency and reliability.

Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices for network operations and configuration management.

Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders on network-related issues and escalations.

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud networking to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Assist in the integration and configuration of VMware ESX and NSX technologies, leveraging their capabilities to enhance network functionality (skills in VMware ESX and NSX considered a plus).

Skills and experience needed:

-Proven experience in network operations, with a focus on cloud environments and PowerSwitch infrastructure.

-Proficiency in configuring, deploying, and managing network devices using SONiC.

-Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and MPLS.

-Experience with virtualization technologies, particularly VMware ESX and NSX (considered a plus).

-Must SEAK DUTCH and be able to WORK onsite in the Netherlands
